Liquisort Plastics is engaged in separation of PE/PP mixes. This sorting method is based on the difference in density of the plastics to be sorted.

This brand new patented technology is especially developed for plastic mixes with particle sizes below 15 mm; existing technologies as NIR (Near Infrared) are not suitable for the sorting of these materials. Also for dark colored particles other available techniques cannot be used.

The Liquisort MDS technology is applicable where conventional sorting technologies are imperfect.

Due to the fact that the MDS technology works with a magnetic liquid in combination with an extremely strong, patented magnetic system, various plastics with even a very small difference in density can be sorted in almost pure fractions. The Liquisort MDS technology even makes it possible to sort plastic streams with a density below1 kg/dm3.
